Synopsis

The Crocodile Strikes!   Freeman Mosher dons a crocodile costume in order to seek out a fortune in jewels hidden in an old plantation's bedpost, but Cap and Bucky put "paid" to his plans.   Your Life Depends On It!   After finishing off a group of spies, Cap explains to Bucky [and all readers] exactly why such deeds are making America a safer place to live and why the fight is being made against the Germans and Japanese. Readers are implored to buy more U.S. Savings Bonds and Stamps to assure victory.   On to Berlin!   The Nazis kidnap General Spenser to get vital information from him re U.S. attacks on Germany. When volunteers are asked for to help rescue the General, Pvt. Steve Rogers refuses to volunteer, and Bucky thinks him a coward.
